magnoliachallenges

Well another fortnight = another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this fortnight we are up to challenge #27….  And this fortnight we are sponsoring a cute little Christmas stamp…

tilda-med-forklade1Tilda Sitting with Candy.  And don’t forget you can pick up your own little cutie/s or other Christmas stamps with 20% OFF till Wednesday.  But be quick as they are selling like hot cakes as the saying goes….

The challenge this fortnight is…

Which is pretty easy as it’s getting to the Jolly Season and I have seen so many amazing Christmas cards already with so much inspiration in every one and with the new Magnolia Christmas stamps they are just gorgeous.  And the other Design Team girls really out did themselves on this one.  Be sure to pop over and check them out here….

So mine was late due to a lack of mojo.  I had LOTS of ideas and they just weren’t coming out.  But I also half started a few BIG projects, but was waiting on the Christmas stamps to make them, so will get stuck into those when they arrive this week.  And so that threw me out of whack a little I think.  But for now this is what I came up with….

Magnolia Stamps : Tilda Singing Carols, Lazy Summer Tilda and JUL06 Tilda som tomte.

Magnolia Paper : Under the Mistletoe – Lingonberry, Green Christmas Plaid, Silent Night. So Jolly - Wrapped Plaid.

Card : Kraft.

Distress Inks : Tattered Rose, Peeled Paint, Fired Brick, Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Brushed Corduroy.

Bizzy Becs : Digi Stamp Ticket.

Other : Lace, Stripped Ribbon, Bell, Dazzling Diamonds, Rhinestones, Cherry Blossom, Leaf and Staple.

I plan on making more because once I got the hang of it, they became rather easy, at first it took me ages to get used to the size restriction.  I was going to be tricky and use a sketch, uhhhh yeah NEVER going to happen, lol!

Dinner with Carrie and Stace as always was great, lots of laughs and then some more and lots of eating!  We love our food, especially out Turkish bread and dips mmmmm.

The weather here has been really odd.  It’s a tad sticky but has been bucketing down rain almost off and on all night and most of the day.  You would think it’s winter if you looked outside.  So funny considering the other day we were in the 40’s!?  Victoria hey, four seasons in one week!

Well best get things ready to start the week, washing *boring* lol!  Cleaning zzzzzzzzzz……Sorry what you lost me a clea….. hehehe.  But I have stamp camp this weekend and can’t WAIT and then we are going gold class to see NEW MOON on Sunday night!  Of course Kristy has already seen it but I’m shocked how well she has held it in on letting things *slip* to me, lol.

Take Care everyone and thank you so much for stopping by xx.
