I decided to give my blog a facelift. It’s still in the new stages and at one point I did something that wiped the whole thing and went into FREAK out mode. But I still need to tweak colours and what not, but decided to go with a 1 column sidebar for a while and see how I like it. And best of all, no more comment issues.
Sunday is here down under and my laid back weekend didn’t quite go to plan. Mind you I didn’t get up to all that much. Hubby left Friday afternoon to go away for the night. And the girls and I did our usual, dvd night and takeaway all so know as Macca’s night. We were all in bed by 9pm?! Although I was watching a DVD in bed and alseep before midnight I am pretty sure. Heidi woke me not long after that, as she was being sick. Poor girl was up and down all night and I was there right along beside her. She stopped at about 10.30am but still was miserable all day. THANK goodness she woke today all bubbley and happy, that’s my Heidi girl. I am just hoping it’s not a bug that is now going to go through the house. Not only because I HATE seeing my girls sick when I can do nothing, but also because we have my 30th this weekend and I am so looking forward to it and seeing family and friends.
SO now I don’t have any pages to share with you. I have just not been in a smashing or crafting mood lately. I have started to clean my craft room and you would had seen the pictures in my post yesterday, it’s a total mess, I mean like BAD mess, can’t see much of the floor mess. But I have loved having a look through my scrapbooking again and seeing how much I miss it. I love smashing, I call myself a “smashbooker” but might try scrapbook more too.
So I decided to share with you all my favourite photo apps on my i-phone as I get a few emails and questions on my facebook page on what I use and where I also get my photos printed. And also what camera’s I use and love. So I decided to share it all with you in the one post. My favourite photo editing apps are…
- Instagram – Like you all didn’t know that already.
- Snapster – Mainly for the colour effect.
- Pocketbooth – My girls and I love to play with this.
- Pixfx – This is where I get the little light effects and more from.
I usually edit my photos in things like Picfix and Snapter and then always go and instagram it. Instagram is almost like facebook only via pictures only. I really love it and ALWAYS love the effect that I get and use them for scrapbooking and smashbooks.
Where do I get them printed is another question I get a lot. I used to get them printed at an online store that closed down. I was so bummed because the quality was always AMAZING. Since then I have looked to find another perfect place. I have used a few…
- Persnickety Prints – Have used once and wasn’t happy with the quality.
- Printstagram – These are cute, but still not overly what I am after.
- Scrapping Simply – They do 4×4 and I have ordered twice and the quality it really good and I think I will be sticking with them from now on. I have emailed to ask if they do 3×3 as it’s my prefered size and just awaiting a reply. But they are FAST.
What camera’s do I use and love? This one is simple and easy…
- I-phone
- Fuji Instax
Yep that is all. I did have a digital camera but it started to break down, it had a good innings for 6 years. And after I got my i-phone I just stopped using it as much. I love my fuji for the instant photos and the use it right away.
So there you have it, all my little camera and photo secrets, well not really!
I must dash now as my SIL just rang and asked if I wanted to go to the movies with her this afternoon and we are going to see Magic Mike and I can’t wait.
xx
