On the 8th of June, my little baby turned 5.  It felt like the day she woke, she just seemed to be acting and talking older.  Which I am sure was all in my head.  But she did nothing but crack me up all day and mention how much she loved her birthday.  We started the day by giving her, her birthday presents while hubby was still here getting ready for work, so rather early and she was SO excited…. A picture with one of her new dolls, she is even wearing the pj’s with the brand on them, both my girls LOVE them, I think because they loved Coraline so much.  The whole button eye thing that have going on.  In fact as I type this, Bow is watching Coraline, something we have not done in a while as it used to ALWAYS be on in our house.

Would not be a birthday without the good old instax camera/s (wide and small size) coming out getting photos there and then, that are now stuck to the fridge until I decided to smash or frame them.  And it’s funny to see people walk in my kitchen and the first thing they do is walk over and have a looksee.  And of course I have to then take a photo of the instax photo and instagram it…

Bow picks me flowers all the time, admittedly often they are weeds with flowers, or leaves lol.  She always has her kindergarten bag full with new flowers for me and I often keep them, or at least one, and even smashed a leaf about it all once before.  But my sister, Bow’s aunty (of course) wanted to not only give her a present but something different, something she loves and so she came up with the idea to get flowers delivered and Bow LOVED them!  Have you seen despicable me?  Where she says “It’s a FLUFFY” it was almost a bit like that, when she said “I have FLOWERS”….

And the last photo is of Chloe and her little “boyfriend” from her kindergaten that has been coming around a little recently to play and came to her little birthday party.  They are so adorable together and really are great friends.  Of course he’s shy and she’s not, haha, very girlie of her.

I’m already not looking forward to next year when she is 6.  I now know why people have the baby of the family, you really just want to them stay little forever. xx
