Two places I am apart of an amazing design team and both are celebrating world card making day, in fact many places I have seen are. And it’s so much fun and such an inspiration to see all the cards flowing.
I thought what better way to get myself to get into my Christmas card making. And last night while I made another 3 [blogging during the week]. Here are the two companies I am part of that are sharing the celebration…
You can find the Paper Issues Facebook Page HERE… and don’t forget to check out the Paper Issues store for all your card making needs and if you use my code you get 20% OFF and that is for EVERY time you place an order…
The other company is of course…
And some of the design team have made some amazing cards featuring the gorgeous twine from The Twinery and what is more exciting is that they are offering a giveaway! So check out The Twinery Blog HERE… For more details, but here is what the prize…
The colours are just gorgeous and perfect for the fact that it is Fall over in the States, while here we are Spring in Australia.
Here is my second Christmas card off the list of about 50, 2 down 48 to go.
I decided to get some white paint and add a faint sponge effect that went from faint to blob, blob, haha. I used a lot of the October Afternoon that I ordered to make cards with and I am shocked I am actually sticking with it so far. But then the designs are gorgeous and I am so inspired to keep going along with them. I added some Studio Calico stars that you can get from HERE…
Polka Dot Creative HERE…. [an Australian online store for all you Aussie readers]… I added some twine on the side from The Twinery and felt it was the perfect touch to finish off the card.
Some other companies also taking part in World Card Making Day are….
And I wanted to share 5 of my favourite cards I have made in my crafting life…. Most from last year because as most of you know I am not much of a card making girl these days, but after making these Christmas Cards, this might change…
Hope you are all having a great weekend. BACK TO SCHOOL tomorrow and to be honest I can’t wait. The girls were restless most of these holidays, but it’s getting to that time of year where we’ve had enough, they’ve had enough and just bring on the Christmas holidays already. I better dash as Kira and I are thinking of heading to see Diary of a Whimpy Kid 3 and so there are things to get ready first so I don’t have to then come home and rush around doing them. xx
