Ok so I told myself I was going to do my own version of December Daily, after all I did buy a Simple Stories little album [going to use to store my clear stamps now]. Then I got an email about pre-ordering the December Daily kit over at Studio Calico. The kit isn’t cheap, but I would had spent just as much, even more, buying things to make my own. When you break it down, you get the album and the pockets and then all the exclusive add ons and what not, it’s actually not that expensive.
I was going to go the whole Summer theme, as I waffled on about in this HERE post on my blog the other month. But thought about this the other week and really regardless of having Summer in Australia in December, nothing screams CHRISTMAS feel more than snow, green, gold and red and more….
So YES I went and pre-ordered the kit, also thinking it might actually help me to have everything in front of my already this year and not second guessing myself all the time…. And be able to follow on with the amazing Ali Edwards.

Pretty! I totally wish that I could commit and follow through with something like that. I figure I’ll use a Smash book and cover the pages in Christmas Paper if I actually do decide to do it!
It’s such a fun idea! I’ve been thinking about doing one too! but I am so bad at remembering to either take a pic, journal or both on a daily basis, lol! I’m going to have to wait until I can get a camera to take with me wherever I go before I decide on buying this!

oh i see! i didnt know it came with an album and everything else! i thought it was just paper etc!
i feel the same way you do about Christmas being all about greens, reds, ect.. and normally i don’t do traditional colors for Christmas, but this years i’m sticking to that color palette. i am going to use the Simple Stories little binder, because i’ve made my own albums in the past, but felt that they didn’t stand up well enough against my other scrapbook albums. can’t wait to see what yours looks like once you get everything all together. thanks for sharing today!
