**Oooops it’s a late one, darn brain forgot to schedule**

WHOO HOO Ella The Pink Elephant is celebrating today and as a celebration we are having a birthday blog hop, which should be so much fun!  I have never actually been in a birthday blog hop before and am excited for my first one EVA.

Well to celebrate we asked that you go back over the year and pick a challenge that you loved and wanted to re-create.  So I picked The Pink Elephant Challenge #45.  Theme challenge Winter and/or Christmas.

I know WHAT?!  Aren’t I over it already, answer no….. And I bought some new Christmas stamps I wanted to play with and went and am, I really AM *telling myself over and over* going to join in and make Christmas cards all year round.  I also needed a sketch, I know I just can’t seem to create these days without one,  so used Sketch Saturdays sketch…..

So here is my re-creation of the challenge….

Stamps : Christmas Emma – All That Scraps and Unity Sentiment.

Papers : Basic Grey – *Prize from Simon Says*  and October Afternoon.  Card Stock – Kraft, Brown and Ivory.

Distress Inks : Tattered Rose, Fired Brick, Aged Mahogany, Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Brushed Cordury, Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap.

Other : Cream Lace – Magnolia Down Under Store, Flowers, Pearl Pin, The Stamp Spot – Doily.  White Gel Pen, Brown and White Dot Ribbon, Gold Bell and Bizzy Becs – Pink Pearls.

How are we all today?  So far tired but you know I think every Sunday I wake even if it’s my sleep in day I still feel tired, I think Sunday’s just have this effect, hehe!?

So another Sunday and now that Magnolia Down Under Challenges has gone weekly I have another challenge for you this week…..YAY….  The challenge we have is a colour challenge and is…

Now a fair while ago someone has this challenge and I LOVED playing along with it.  Now that I HAD to make a card with the colours I got seriously lost, bahaha!  Always the ways can do something when you don’t have to but as soon as you DO it’s a challenge!

I just knew what papers to use and set about it Friday night getting it done.  And here is the result….

Magnolia Stamps : Recipe Card, Sweet Tilda, Unwarpped Tilda and Charleston Tilda

Paper : October Afternoon and Pink Paislee.  Kraft and Basic Grey Cardstock.

Distress Inks : Tattered Rose, Brushed Cordury, Frayed Burlap, antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick, Black Soot and Worn Lipstick.

Other : The Stamp Spot – Doily, My Minds Eye – Black and Cream Ribbon, Maya Road Pin, Rhinestones, Flowers, Roses and Leaves from stash.

Sick of all the posts yet, hehe!  Still not yet used to this screen, it’s like it’s blurry but not and just not bright enough.  I have fiddled with the screen settings over and over and I was almost convinced my eyes were playing up till Kira came home and said…. What’s wrong with the screen it’s like all blurry and like dark….(words of a 10 year old, hehe)  Phew I’m not getting old early on in life, bahahaha!

I have been bursting to tell you all this since I got the email, it’s been really hard to contain it and not just BLURT it out there, haha.  After re-reading it a couple of times and taking all of a split second to reply YES…. lol!  I have been asked to join the All That Scraps Design Team as a permanent member!

WHOO HOO…..

I am so proud and very honored to be asked.  I am loving the stamps they have and am ashamed to admit how much of them I now own…..  Lets leave that to another day hey!
