Time To Say Goodbye…

To this blog.  I have started a new blog HERE… and would love to see you over there.  I’m having a giveaway in a few days and I’m pretty excited by it.  Bit of a celebration.  Still tweaking things here and there…

For over 6 months I have been having issues with this here blog.  If I would add a link to Facebook or even an email linking to my blog, people would get zip folders or virus warning.  NOW I don’t have a virus I can assure you, I ran my sites through almost 5 different site scanners, nothing.  It made me not want to blog as much.  Knowing that while some people could see my blog, others couldn’t.  I tried everything and had a friend, Simone help me out as well.  I was planning to with the help of Simone, making a new database. I decided the other week to start a fresh in 2013 and the feeling just felt right.

But it’s not sad, I feel really good and excited to start new!  New year, new blog!

So with 1’304 [well 1'305] blog posts, 43 categories, 59 tags and 14’439 comments.  I am saying goodbye to this here blog.

The Day I Got to Meet One of my Crafty Idol’s

Yes I know the title may come off a bit extreme, lol,  but most of you that read my blog would had heard me mention at least once or more how much I love Amy Tan’s [Tangerine's] products and that I have some what of a crafty crush on her. And I got to meet her last Sunday!  I am so glad that I decided to go.  Amy is seriously so sweet and while I was nervous and excited to speak with her, she makes you feel so welcomed and just an absolute sweet heart, I don’t often use that word, but I truly think she is.

We got a little cardmaking lesson from Amy herself, which was quick and easy and made me realise I should be making more cards with my scraps as well as scrapbooking, smashbooking, daybooking and project life…..  Did I miss anything there?  Could I possibly be doing anymore?  I’m sure I could, please don’t mention it lol, I wont be able to help myself and look into it.

And I also got to meet two gorgeous ladies from a facebook group I am part of all about Project Life.  Both Betty and Carol were amazing and while I was basically nervous the whole time I still managed to utter more than two words.  It’s funny when you get around people that share the same craze, obsession, addiction as you, you feel like you can talk forever about it with people you have just meet.

And then I showed Amy my daybook that I have blogged about recently and she even signed it for me and then asked if she could take some photos of it, I don’t think I had to think about my answer….

Of course I have more photos, but am leaving them for my weekly instagram post, although if you follow my blog page in Facebook you would had seen them all already.  I was a little excited on the drive home.

Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes and that took the time to enter and share this giveaway.  It was amazing to see the result and when I popped in the number and it popped out the winning number, I was in shock, before I even found out who the winner was….  WHY?

Random.Org picked out the number 5, 5 as in the 5th as in my brithday was on the 5th and my reason for having the giveaway and it picked number 5, is that not freaky?  I know I thought so when I clicked enter and it came out with that.  SO who is the lucky winner.  Counting down the comments, number 5 lands on this lucky winner…

Sorry this is late, was meant to announce on Friday and everything just fell behind and as I have mentioned we have had the flu going about in our house hold and in fact the whole town is being hit by it.  But hubby and I started to get it Thursday and were all in bed at this house by 7pm?!  SAY WHAT, I know so not like me.  Then Friday we watched a DVD and all in bed by 8.30 on a Friday night?!  Yesterday I was in bed all day and I mean literally ALL day, I not only had the flu but got a shocker headache too, a mix of head cold and an actual headache I think.  So today is catch up on washing and school things, weekly shop and this here post.

So I will be announcing the winner of the Instax Camera tomorrow.  I didn’t want to announce both giveaway winners in the one post just in case it gets missed by some.  So look out for that email tomorrow.
