Before I start there is a challenge over at Magnolia Down Under Challenge and it’s a fun one that all the DT enjoyed and their work is amazing….WOW….WOW…. Check out their work HERE…. and join in with us this week

Onto my question of the day…. I have often wondered how you all post your cards with lots of flowers etc, you know those really bulky cards?  I have seen boxes down at my local post office, but thought surely there is a cheaper version than posting in something that costs more than what the card is worth, hahaha…?  I am looking at selling some of my cards online soon but don’t want to sell them for them to then get damaged in the mail, and also if it’s going to be so costly and scare people away into buying them….  So can anyone point me in the direction of what is good, what works and what they would recommended?  Any info would be muchly appreciated

Sorry I am soooo super late with this post.  I only just finished the card around lunch time was falling a bit behind with working on things here and also house etc and was my gorgeous hubbies 29th birthday yesterday!

The challenge this week we are lucky to be sponsored by a great and caring friend of mine and gorgeous card maker Bec from Bizzy Becs….  Bec has of my FAVOURITE shops of all time and Bec always ships out orders SUPER quick……  Bec has the most amazing flowers you could get your hands on, I LOVE them! • STITCHING….

I love stitching, and I do it by hand, or with my mini sewing machine or even I love the effect of hand drawn stitching!  The list is endless as to what you can do.  Can even be in the pattern of your paper….. Let your imagination stitch away…..  Here is my card I came up with.  I’ll admit I have yet to do the inside *blushed*

Papers : Kraft, Soft Suede and Prima Papers – Anna’s Craft Cupboard.

Distress Inks : Faded Jeans, Antique Linen, Spun Sugar, Aged Mahogany, Walnut Stain, Frayed Burlap, Brushed Cordury, Broken China and Fired Brick.

Other : Flowers, Leaves, Bird Charm, Black and Cream Ribbon, Lace, Ric Rac, Mini Buttons and Brad.

I forgot to take a photo of the back and by the time I take it load re-size etc, and I have washing to fold, dinner to think about, etc lol!  So here is the one I have used…..

Good Morning still, hehe!

Today is my middle girl, but I call her little still and call Chloe whom is younger my bubba girl, which she is starting to say NO I’m a big girl….NOOOOOO stay little forever, haha.  So it’s Heidi’s birthday, she is the BIG 4 and is watching one of her presents, bet you can’t guess that it’s Coraline, hehe!

So as some of you may know a month ago or so Kristy aka Princess house was flooded, well on Saturday she rang me and it had started again.  I told her to get straight onto SES as her hubby is away with the army for a MONTH!  Her neighbors, sisters and SES all came to help her and stopped it from getting in the house.  And cut loooong story short my hubby said why don’t you go and surprise her *sweetest hubby in the world isn’t he*, she could use the company, so I text her saying could I ring her really late, like 10.30 pm and she said yeah course I can, and instead I showed up on her door step….. She was soooo excited and better yet I bought chocolate, hehe!

So before that, I had only just made my Magnolia Down Under Challenges card, had no time to take photos and the weather here was DARK and yucky the photos looked shocking.  The blog post was all over the place so when we woke Sunday morning, Kristy added my photo for me and we fixed up the blog as the font would NOT behave itself, lol and was going MASSIVE instead of just large, lol.  No matter how much we both played with it….

Any ways just reminder we have moved the challenge blog to HERE….

Good Morning

This morning is another Sunday and so that means another Challenge Down Under over at Magnolia Down Under BUT we have now moved!  We have decided to go from Wordpress to Blogger, see how that pans out.

• EASTER…

It’s just around the corner and no lie here is Australia they basically took the Christmas decorations down and put out Easter eggs, I mean it’s hard enough taking little ones that want sweets as soon as they see them, but they were everywhere….. VERY sneaky of them putting them as soon as you walk in to, they have a plan, bahahaha!

I couldn’t think of a good title and because this is going to be a long one I thought that would be good enough.  I will be back again this evening with my last Just Magnolia Guest card, but had a few things to share, show and tell, that I have been meaning to all week.

**WARNING LONG POST AHEAD…..Grab a cuppa…**

WOW what a busy week so far with the new release of the Hoppy Easter Collection, they are so cute, can not wait for mine to arrive.  Have many plans for a lot of them already, brain goes into over drive when I see new collections with ideas that I want them NOW…. hehe.

I am sorry I have not gotten around to all your amazing creations as of late, but plan on doing a lot of catching up during the weekend…. YAY to Friday here down under.

As some of you know I went for a crafting weekend last weekend to Kristy Young’s and WOW the last time I went I got like 2 cards made was it Princess?  Nothing was working for me and I coloured so many images to use hardly any of them.  And she pumped out like 5-6 cards!  This time I just made card after card and made 6-7 cards….. WHOO HOO was very pleased as all were DT work and so you shall see them soon, and work for the Magnolia Ink Magazine, so if they make the cut you will see them in the next issue.

On the Saturday we had the Deb-a-licious come and craft with us for the day.  I always love when we get to catch up she cracks me up, such a wonderful personality.  Heres a little happy snap of us together….

We went out for mmmmm brunch on my last day, bunch because we stay up to ridiculous hours like 5am both Fri and Sat night and so by Sunday we are a tad on the “I’m going to pass out for some much needed sleep, hehe.”  And so we took photos of our yummy breaky and dessert……WARNING will cause drooling…..

Mine and Kristy’s ice coffees…. Yummmy eggs Benedict *DROOLS* had never had them before but OH MY… My desert half eaten hehehe, I was on the phone when it came and forgot about the taking photos and just dug in…. And then after that was the long drive home

I also forgot in my trying to get my sleep back to walking around like a zombie for Monday and Tuesday that I didn’t share my Little Musings DT card….. DO’H and I made something a little different….. Little because………It’s a little card, hehe….

Well as some of you may have seen we have now gone to weekly challenges, BUT split into 2 groups so that we as DT only have to do cards for the challenge every fortnight still.  So far it’s all coming along fabulously and the girls are loving the set up.  This means we can get on more Guests per month etc.
