So this card is for my Magnolia DT card and mixed it with my last guest card for Just Magnolia, it has been amazing working along the talented Just Magnolia DT and a blast, I always look forward to Friday nights to see what the challenge will be so it was a lot of fun being involved the way I was. So the challenge over at Just Magnolia is….

This is simple, EVERYONE can join in with this one I am sure of it!  And this is the card I have came up with….

Papers : Webster’s Paper, Brown and Kraft Cardstock.

Distress Inks : Tattered Rose, Brushed Cordury, Frayed Burlap, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar, Fired Brick  and Victorian Velvet.

Other : Flowers *Bizzy Becs* Black and Cream Check Ribbon, Crystal Pin, White Doilies *The Stamp Spot* Brown Brads and White Gel Pen.

I couldn’t find a sentiment I was after so I just typed one up on the computer.  I was so lucky that Kristy spoiled me when I stayed at her house and she gave me some Websters papers…. OMGosh I am in LOVE with them, this is NOT the last card you will be seeing me use with them I can WARN you that, hehe!

This is going to be a little post, I have just gotten home from going out for dinner with my gals, high school friends that you may have read about Carrie and Stacey.  It was YUMMY… Boy am I full, but I forgot all about my Just Magnolia post D’oh!   And the heat has died down and I just feel like curling up in bed watching tv at the moment.

BUT it’s Friday YAY and another Friday means another Just Magnolia challenge and the prize for this one is absolutely gorgeous, I Love, LOVE using flowers on my cards and Wild Orchids is sponsoring us this week.  So the challenge this week is….

How are we all today?  So far tired but you know I think every Sunday I wake even if it’s my sleep in day I still feel tired, I think Sunday’s just have this effect, hehe!?

Hello Everyone

Well I must admit when I was given the challenges from Bev at Just Magnolia for my guest spot for January I loved them, then I looked at this one a little more and started to panic, haha.  I was almost going to throw in the towel and then Kristy said to me, you always say, a sketch is what you make it and a guide.  After that I got and idea and an hour later a card was made and I was happy to have not thrown in the towel, ta Princess

This morning I am showing you a card I made over the weekend when I stayed at Kristy’s house.  We are really close and because we live an hour and a half away we try and have a craft “sleepover” one weekend a month if possible.  It’s really nice to have the craft time as her husband keeps the kids very busy and even had a camp out with them which was sweet and Kristy has the perfect set up for us.  Any ways ENOUGH waffling….

The card I made I am entering into a total of SEVEN challenges!  I have not done anything like this in a while and it was sooo much fun.  So here they all are, a challenge for everyone to join I say….

They had a new release on January 4th, and this was one of them that arrived…..

Well the hubby is back at work as of yesterday   Was so nice having him home and I missed not having him here during the day.  But there are a few long weekends and public holidays the first 2-4 months of the year.  Better start thinking about getting school things ready for Kira and Kindergarten for Heidi, lucky ol Chloe misses the cut off date and gets a full yer home with me again, which I am not complaining about.  We want them to smile, say their first words, crawl, talk, walk, then when they do all that we want them to stay a baby forever, hahaha!  Goes by so quickly.

Ok best get to my house work, since now hubby is back I am getting up earlier but the girls are still in sleep in mode, which is nice to get a coffee down and some quite time before the madness and mess starts, lol!

How are we all?  Glad it’s the weekend?  Well almost I always classified Friday as the start of the weekend even when I was working because “usually” Fridays would be so laid back and no one cared because it was the weekend!

So anyways this will be a quick one as I am sitting here typing this to schedule for about 7.30pm when it’s really 1pm, lol, the joys of having the schedule button and should be on my way to Kristy’s for our craft non stop weekend, where she will make me coffee after coffee lol YEAH right I’ll be lucky to see one.

Good Afternoon All,

Bit late with my post you’ll have to excuse that, I was also a bit late with the card.  I forgot my list of “Things 2 Make” when I went camping and got back Thursday lunch time instead of Friday morning, cause I didn’t want to be running around getting ready to go to JB and unpacking and washing blah blah waffle……  Turns out I thought the challenge for Just Magnolia was next week uhhh no and I found out Friday morning when I checked the list “just in case” thank goodness Bev was understanding, I felt awful for beng so late, but got a card inn just in the nick of time.  And just made my train in time too!

I am SO excited to be doing my first guest challenge with Just Magnolia, so much talent was a tad daunting, lol.  So the Special Monthly Challenge over at Just Magnolia is “Paper Pleating” set by the oh so talented DT member Mina.  The instructions are all on the challenge blog HERE….. and they are so easy to follow.  NOW I didn’t find paper pleating that easy, so there is only a small amount on my card, but check out the other DT HERE….. WOW amazing!  And because it’s not the easiest thing to do, but we know you can do it, Heidi for Simon Says is sponsoring a $25 voucher and offering to pay the postage costs too!  You have nothing to lose and paper to pleat…. Well as some of you may have read I went to see John Butler last night OMG it was absolutely amazing!  My feet were killing from standing for so long but I so didn’t care, we ended up being pretty close and I just LOVED it will be going back again when he tours.  Will be back with photos and more later on.

When I stopped by sketch Saturday I knew right away I wanted to play, but had lost the mojo to get going.  Then when I was ‘meant’ to be packing the last few things at 11pm I got an idea and went with it, with a handy little push from Kristy, haha.

Yes as you could tell I have flipped it, when I seen it right away I knew I would flip it that ways as I was working on a card the night before with a sketch I did for myself and it looked almost identical!  Here is what I came up with….
